Gary Numan Performs Live
Tuesday, September 03 (7:00 P.M.)
Venue: Oakland Metro Operahouse
VH1 would have you believe Gary Numan is a one-hit wonder it listed his 1979 song “Cars” as #21 on
the “Top 50 Greatest One Hit Wonders”, but his legacy shouldn’t be reduced to having one hit in
America. The pioneering synth-pop artist, who had multiple hits in his native UK, will release his
twentieth studio album in October and go on tour with Nine Inch Nails this fall — at the personal
invitation of Trent Reznor.
